Geraldine and Nansady Keita, both African drummers, created a documentary about their craft and the workshops they have developed with residents from the Newcastle area.
The couple met in Nansady's home country Guinea in 2004 as Geraldine continued her training in the traditional percussion of Guinea.
Nansady, 36, said: "We did some filming practice at the University. We enjoy living in the North East. I've got a lot of friends here. I've done some workshops and performances for the Tyne & Wear Museums, including one 'Remembering Slavery 2007'."
Geraldine, 33, who has recently given birth to the couple's first child, Fransady, said: "It's been a positive creative learning experience. We had a lot of fun doing it and it is good to learn new skills that we can use in Guinea. It's given us a bit more of an insight into the filming process."
